The core responsibilities of this role include: Process inbound and outbound shipping documentation including bills of lading (BOLs) packing slips manifests and carrier paperwork.
Schedule carrier appointments and coordinate transportation activities for inbound and outbound shipments. Verify shipment information for accuracy and completeness before shipment release.
Monitor shipment status and communicate delays exceptions or service failures to appropriate stakeholders. Enter and maintain transportation and inventory records within Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and customer platforms. Maintain accurate logs reports and documentation to support regulatory and customer requirements. Support temperature-sensitive and controlled-environment shipments in accordance with Life Sciences quality standards. Ensure compliance with DHL Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) work instructions GDP requirements and customer-specific procedures. Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies documentation errors and transportation exceptions. Communicate effectively with carriers warehouse personnel quality teams customer service representatives and customers. Assist with inventory reconciliation activities related to transportation transactions. Generate operational reports and performance metrics as required. Support internal and external audits by providing accurate shipping and transportation records. Maintain confidentiality and security of customer products and data.
Position: Third shift Traffic Clerk
Shift: 8:00pm 4:30am Thursday-Monday
Pay: $22.50 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential incentive for third shift

Responsible for scheduling truck deliveries and pick ups
Works closely with customer service client representatives and representatives and drivers of trucking firms to achieve and maintain high service levels
Coordinates drivers equipment and freight
Ensures that all shipping and receiving documents and functions are completed accurately and on time
