School-Based Physical Therapist Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to serve as a School-Based Physical Therapist Supervisor for a large school district in the Harrisburg, PA area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with children and school-based teams and is looking for a small, flexible commitment of approximately 3–5 hours per week.
Position Highlights
Starting at $85/hour, depending on experience
1099 independent contractor position
Approximately 3–5 hours per week

Supervise and support a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Assist with student evaluations and assessments
Provide clinical guidance and support to school-based staff

Responsibilities
Provide clinical supervision of a school-based Physical Therapist Assistant
Assist with and/or participate in physical therapy evaluations as needed
Review and support appropriate implementation of PT services and treatment plans
Collaborate with school personnel and the educational team
Provide clinical consultation and guidance related to students' physical therapy needs
Help ensure services are provided in accordance with professional standards and school district requirements
Maintain appropriate professional documentation and communication
Qualifications
Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist license in good standing
Experience working with children preferred
School-based pediatric experience preferred
Experience supervising or working with Physical Therapist Assistants preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and provide sound clinical judgment
