Job Responsibilities:
· Design and implement instructional programs on the installation of ceilings, including understanding blueprints, preparation, and industry-best practices.
· Provide hands-on demonstrations and training preparations, material selection, installation techniques, and finishing processes.
· Assess member progress, provide individualized feedback and support to foster growth and skill development.
· Remain current on industry advancement, tools, techniques, and trends related to ceiling installation.
· Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment, adhering to all safety and quality standards.
· Communicate effectively with members, fostering engagement and motivation in the learning process.
Requirements:Qualifications & Experience:
· Must be a member in Good Standing with The New York City District Council of Carpenters.
· At least 10 years of experience in Interior Systems Ceilings installation.
· Deep knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques used in Interior Systems ceilings installation.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse group of learners.
· Basic proficiency with PC and tablets, as well as related software for instructional purposes.
Skills & Abilities:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
· Ability to analyze reports and data relevant to instructional outcomes.
· Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing tasks through to completion.
· Able to work effectively individuals from diverse backgrounds.
